Sources inside Apple, who wish to remain anonymous, have indicated the development of a new iPod product. This new iPod would be the smallest iPod model yet. Literally only the size of the earphone themselves, the new iPod Micro will continue to deliver equal to those of the “ear buds”. What makes this new iPod particularly interesting however is that there are “no strings attached.” The ear piece will be responsible for storing and playing the music. The iPod Micro will come with its own docking stations which will attach to computers via USB. The ear piece can be plugged into the dock, to update, and recharge t battery. Apple is suspected to produce .5, 1, and 2 Gigabyte versions of the Micro. The iPod Micro is currently aimed at being on stores shelves for early December 2007.
