the trash files when emptying show a different number of files than shown in the trash folder. what could this be? I'm mystified.

The files when emptying amount shows all files in all subfolders. The number shown in the Trash folder is just the top level total. Applications are folders, don't forget.
My other brain is hung like a horse too. #IRC isn't old school. Old school is being able to say 'finger me' with a straight face. |
