I've heard that the WiFi on the Touch won't work on a VPN?
If so, is there a reasonable workaround? Or at least will Apple fix it in the future? |

I take it you mean that the touch does not have a VPN client?
Dunno, not got mine yet... It's all alone... In a box... In a cold, dark warehouse... Waiting to be delivered... ![]() OK, I have given up keeping this sig up to date. Lets just say I'm the guy that installs every latest version as soon as its available! |

The iPod touch doesn't ship with a VPN client. The VPN clients for the iPhone are third-party applications, and no one has managed to figure out how to get third-party software onto the iPod touch yet.
For the near future, at the very least, there won't be a VPN client. |

iPhone also has the ability to connect to VPNs built in. That doesn't work with Cisco VPNs (nothing does except for their own software), but that's still a difference between the iPhone and the Touch.
