To everyone here at AppleNova, I wish you a safe, joyful and peaceful holiday season. Spend time with those you love, and look forward to all that 2008 will bring! I feel like I have some good buddies here, and have met a lot of great people these past three-and-a-half years. There's no other Mac forum I'd rather call home...

As Mac geeks, we also get wound-up this time of year about another big, important event that follows on the heels of these late-December holidays...a little shindig up 'Frisco way.

So I married the two things, into a little something I like to call...

Oh. My. God.

It's perfect.

*applause*

You've outdone yourself, Pscates! You've even topped the MWSF drinking game! I can't give you enough positive rep for this.

No, seriously, I can't. I have to spread some reputation around first.

Pscates wins the internets. Happy holidays <3 <3

I sing anyway.

I won't do it this time, but this gem could rocket to the top of Digg in a second. Good thing you made it just for us 'Novians...

Very nicely done, now get some sleep!

My only critique: The text is one point size too small. I'm 40. I guess that's two, related critiques, but one of them isn't your fault.

Fantastic work.

I plan to live forever. So far, so good.

Right, arouse and emote, you cantankerous rabble! Let's have some seasonal merriness about the place. Recent rumours of AppleNova's demise have happily proven to be greatly exaggerated (though bloody hell Brad, you kept us in suspense long enough. Get well soon!). One Christmas poem, fantastic though it be (thanks pscates2.0), does not alone a merry Christmas make. So happy holidays everyone, and may everyone who so desires have a round on me, Jägerbombs or champagne according to age and taste. And a special shout-out to our Christian members, for whom Christmas has an additional meaning (though please go easy on handing out tracts in shopping malls!).

Awesome Pscates!
It's accurate right down to the illustration of Jobs.
You should send this off to Steve-o...no guarantee he'd read it but I'm sure he'd get a kick out of it.

I second this suggestion.

At the very least, he might change his wardrobe in January.

Not being an unhinged bumper/attention whore, but I did create the above with Macworld (and Steve's keynote on Tuesday) in mind, so I don't think there's anything wrong in reviving it, a day or two before said presentation. A righteous bump, done for the best, most noble of reasons...

Besides, new members or casual lurkers might've missed it the first time around.

After Tuesday, it can be locked/deleted/blown-up, etc.

Damnit, that wasn't the result I wanted... It actually enhanced the cadence of it bit. Just wanted to make a little fun out of you
(That doesn't mean you should change it back )

Steve, I'm your bish, you sold me the Mac Pro I didn't want. (OMG it's fast!) - Converted 07/2005.
