What is the best/easiest way to look up stateside TV show listings online? TV Guide's website represents the antonym of "very good". I just missed an episode of a show I like and am looking to see if it'll be repeated in the late hours sometime~

Try the website for any local cable provider. They usually have a grid.

Plug in some local zipcodes...

...into your local cable company's website. For example, Comcast.

...get something like this...

An aside: I love TV Tome www.tvtome.com...tons of info about a given show. I use it constantly. (no grid links though)

Thanks Mr. Public,
The biggest problem I have with grid systems is that the website programming grid listings out there on the net are absolutely awful.. Television has been around for HOW long and there's not a better way of distributing the information about programming? There should be a standard XML format for cable & network programming, hosted by those providers. Anyone could write a client that could parse the information contained in the XML files, empowering dedicated cathode ray nipple addicts like me.

Well if you put it that way.

*starts typing ridiculous code together*

Come to think of it tho, I completely agree.
I hate the way TVguide works, its incredibly worthless. Not to mention the fact that I can't get to the grids half the times, because their top menu does not load right.

The only thing leaving me with sanity is my digital cable, and its build in guide. Thank God for that, or else I'd be watching infomercials (which I have grown quite fond of) or Bob Villa all day.
