"actress and pop musician Lindsay Lohan talked about having recently cut an advertisement for Apple's new "iPod Radio."
How much you wanna bet she actually said "I recently cut an iPod radio ad" and not "iPod Radio ad" Transcript please.... "Peace cannot be kept by force. It can only be achieved by understanding." - Albert Einstein |

i think more that lohan is an idiot and thinks that the iPod is a radio
i mean, come on, apple do a lohan "radio" commercial??? it is not her voice that interests people...having a radio commerical with her would be ignoring her "assets" as a product promoter g crazy is not a rare human condition everything is food if you chew hard enough |

Maybe it's a joke...
Think of it this way: Apple releases iPod radio, and has Lohan star in the first iPod radio ad. . . with the phrase, "for all the crap you'd never put on you iPod... (--center on Lohan--) we bring you the iPod Radio. Listen, and be glad you don't have to delete it afterward." no sig, how's that for being a rebel! |

Besides the point that you may not like her(And goes to show, that people are asses) her voice is very well known and it would be a good way for her to tie her album with Apple's iPod like U2 did..Remember that apple said other type of crosspromotions where going to happen.
This would be mainly for the ipod Micro, the demo that listens to Lohanbut can't afford a 300 buck iPod, but can get there parents to get them a 149 iPod... |

Google it. it's the next big fad, thanks to the iPod, cool as F Cell Phones and Digital Cameras, and cute/hot "Tech Accessories*". It was the buzzword for this years CES, right after "Digital Entertainment Hub"

I'd at least break a finger or two though. But hell, she is hot. EDIT: I've definitely seen better, but still, a very cute girl. "We are reviewing some 9,000 recent UNHCR referrals from Syria. Now that I think about this though, there could be something to this rumor. Ok, stay with me here. Remember when Steve Jobs talked about how 60 songs or so is not worth the hassle of the flash-device? Well, what if the new flash-based iPod has a bare-minimum of 250 songs in it's 1 GB configuration? 250 is a decent amount of songs, yeah. But maybe Jobs can say, "in reality though, this device can hold an unlimited amount of music."
The crowd waits... "Because it has a bult-in radio. This is called iPod radio!" 250-500 songs + the radio...to go. eh? "We are reviewing some 9,000 recent UNHCR referrals from Syria. We are receiving roughly a thousand new ones each month, and we expect admissions from Syria to surge in 2015 and beyond." - Anne C. So Lohan's sister broke the NDA..ha ha.
Ayway, so Lohan is one of the three(four?) artist to do a commercial? 'd like to know who the others are? Hilary Duff? Britney Spears? Christina Agularia? ow I can see what Phil was talking about when he said Apple had other deals with musicians... |

I could see Apple adding FM capability in the next iPod update, but I don't see how that would constitute a name change or a seperate product. There could be something to the whole idea of the iPod flash being called the iPod radio, though...
...whatever the hell. Anything that provides a good excuse to post a pic of Lohan is fine with me. |

I don't see Apple ever adding FM. There's already a third party product for this. Besides, it's a bit of a step backwards. The iPod is about digital music. If anything one day they'll add satellite radio.

Well one thing we know is that Hollywood already knows about Apple products before us Mac users....Just lik3 last year with iLife 04 and the iPod Mini and the iMac G5...
No wonder there are leaks happening the past year or so... |

Here's my wild guess.
There is a product called iPod Radio, and it's an Apple branded device that combines an iPod Flash with a Sirius satellite radio reciever... the iPod interface controlling Sirius' satellite radio programming. There have already been rumors floating around to this end, and perhaps this is a sign that Jobs has an ace up his sleeve for the iPod line. |
