So, I had this idea from the awful fucking spider threads that crop up from time to time, but it might be helpful for political threads and suchlike:

We need an "Ignore Thread" button. You'd no longer be notified of new posts in that thread, and the irritation / sheer mindbending fear would just go away. I have a few members on ignore because I can't deal with their politics, but I would like to see their technical opinions...

Thoughts? Possible?

Huh, I thought I was being good by not posting a giant spider video in here.

However, I can read Brad's mind on this one. Unless it's something that's built into Vb it probably isn't going to happen. It would be a change effecting every layout, display etc. and any time there's a patch or update to Vb it would need to be tweaked again.

Or, you know, you could just not go in those threads......
