The instant after I posted a comment in the Walmart thread concerning religion, applenova doesn't seem to respond to thread opening requests. i know correlation doesn't equal causation, but comeon!?!

Edit: It's working now...

It gave me a warning about double posting even though I hit the button once, could it be that during the 45 second cool off time, the server software wouldn't let me open threads (and yet browse the interface)?

That's probably my fault. I've been modifying the Amazon plugin code to make it suck less (like supporting [url=http://...] without quotes) and whenever I upload my changes to the server, the pages blink out for a moment.
The quality of this board depends on the quality of the posts. The only way to guarantee thoughtful, informative discussion is to write thoughtful, informative posts. AppleNova is not a real-time chat forum. You have time to compose messages and edit them before and after posting.
