Poor Bill, still not in as bad of shape as my poor Jay Cutler.
AND I live in Wisconsin, surrounded by cheese heads - they take their Packer love to irrational levels. But honestly, I also don't know if this is intended to be a football thread, or a pwned thread. |

It can be a football thread since there doesn't seem to be one for the 2009 NFL season. I was in IRC with a Pats fan and he went absolutely rabid when they turned it over. He kept justifying the playcalling too, which was even better.
When it's a one score game with 2 minutes left, you dont' risk a turnover on downs at your own 30 yard line. It doesn't matter if it's Manning, Favre, Joe Montana or whoever. "your post tagline/signature is lame. I'm disappointed, you are usually better than that." -Brave Ulysses |

I thought the bobbled catch where the receiver gained possession of the ball sometime after he first touched it but before he hit the ground was a questionable call... possibly the right one but I would have felt better had they reviewed it. But Belichick screwed himself over with the poor clock management and with the decision to go for it on 4th down, so it was really his fault anyway.
Incredible, though. Peyton throws two picks straight to New England's defenders without a Colt anywhere near (you'd think he forgot what color jerseys his receivers were wearing), and they fail to get any points from two red zone turnovers, yet they still manage to pull it out. That was a good game. |
