I hate Flash so damned much.

Trying to watch video on Adult Swim's site. The video panes just... flash. Using ClickToFlash, have *.adultswim.com in the whitelist, but it just does its best to induce a seizure. :P

Disable ClickToFlash... same thing.

Anyone seeing/seen/solved this?

My other brain is hung like a horse too.

Whoa... serious Flash flashing here too.

I'm running one of the Flash 10.1 betas. I bet most others in this thread are not, but how 'bout you?

This video looks good to me on my MB. Got a link to one I can try to see how it looks on my machine?

Click to Flash in use here.

Nope, 10.0.42 here.

turtle, that one's doing it on me too.

Mac OS X 10.6.3
Safari 4.0.5
Flash 10.0.42

Pop-up blocking on, off, doesn't matter.

Cleared cache, didn't help.

Robo: Yup, games are good, it's just video that's hosed. (You know, the trivially brain-dead easy one to get right...)

Off to update Flash to 10.0.45.2... Oh look, it *STILL* insists on making you force-quite the goddamned Finder to install it.

Jesus H Christ. Retards.

Aaaaaand no change. Gee, glad I have their 'open' extra plugin installed so I can access 'all the web content'.

Die Flash fucking die. Really.

On my TiBook all is good except I don't live in the mighty US of A, so I do not have the privilege of viewing this masterpiece. Is it because I am black? Racists.

Bizarre.

I can view that Family Guy video on my Powerbook (1.67GHz PowerPC G4) and it's running in perfect time... no stuttering or freezing... which it typically does on a lot of YouTube and Vimeo (etc) videos. (I saw a BBC video yesterday which ran perfectly too, which surprised me quite a bit).

Mac OS X 10.4.11
Firefox 3.5.9
Flash - 10,0,32,18

So do we think your issue a Snow Leopard thing?
What kind of machine are you on?
I don't remember being forced to quit the Finder to install Flash. :/

Here I thought I figured out a cause, and had undone it and returned to a video page, and, well, fuck you very much, Adobe.

Wow. I reload the page. I restart the browser. Every single time it crashes upon trying to load the video.

Way to go, Adobe.

Snow Leopard, right?
I'm not getting a new machine until Apple and Adobe get this mess straightened out.

Hunh. Works fine for me:

OS X 10.6.3
Safari 4.0.5 (6531.22.7)
Flash 10,0,42,34
ClickToFlash 1.6b5 (not whitelisted)

Edit: Firefox works, too (version 3.5.7 is the one I used; haven't bothered updating it in a while.)

Installed plugins:

Flip4Mac 2.3
Silverlight 2.0.40115.0
Flash 10.0 r45
Move-Media-Player npmnqmp 071101000050 (buh wha?)
ClickToFlash 1.5.4
Google Talk 1.1.2.9282
QT 7.6.6
iPhoto Photocast 700

Any similarities to others having this issue? Since I'm seeing it across browsers, it has to be a browser-agnostic issue. Plugins, networking, something.

Wow, I have lots of the same software, but nearly all version numbers are different. Your plugins in italics for an easy comparison:

Flip4Mac 2.3
Mine is version 2.2.3
Silverlight 2.0.40115.0
Mine is version 2.0.30523
Flash 10.0 r45
Mine is the same
Move-Media-Player npmnqmp 071101000050 (buh wha?)
Mine is npmnqmp 071303000006 (seriously, what is this? I don't ever remember installing anything like: http://movenetworks.com/)
ClickToFlash 1.5.4
Mine is 1.6b5
Google Talk 1.1.2.9282
Not installed.
QT 7.6.6
Mine is the same (with Perian installed)
iPhoto Photocast 700
Mine says: iPhoto6

I do also have a few other plugins:
Unity Web Player, ActiveGS, RealPlayer (!?!), and Quartz Composer.

Maybe try upgrading CtF as a first pass? I don't remember what it was, but there was some bug in 1.5 that the 1.6 beta solved for me.

Edit: Oh, wait, CtF doesn't work in Firefox. So it's probably not that, eh?

Well, have it tracked down to one account, so that eliminates a broad swath of potential issues...
