I've been doing some "survival training" in 1.23 single player and man, it's easy to get really lost in a jungle. Nice work!

Just updated to 1.2, installed the new texture pack and fired up a new world to check it out. Jungles are fun! Much bigger than I expected.

Been having some control issues with MC lately. Towards the latter part of 1.1 I would freeze for 5-10 seconds unable to use the keyboard, but was still able to use the mouse to fend off baddies. This still happens in 1.2, but last night I had the whole game freeze for a good 20-30 seconds at a time, once with a forced boot. Anyone else having these issues?
 So it goes. |

Yeah, I'm having the keyboard issue. I just tab out and that fixes it. I have also noticed poorer performance too on my mac. 27" iMac (current version) w 12gb RAM.

I have the issue where it still accepts mouse input but loses keyboard about once a day. I find that switching applications gets it back on track.
Hidden 1.2 feature: F3 now tells you which biome you're in. Handy! I am not saying she is engaged in small-scale mining operations for precious metals, but I have never seen her associate with any gentlemen of African American origin who are suffering financial embarrassment. I have been having the issue since the weekly snapshots. It's clearly in the App and not the connection then. I was sure it was a weekly seed bug, but guess it made it's way into the release. I get the same mouse moves but keyboard doesn't work. I just switch workspaces and then switch back and am playing again normally.

I wasn't on for long this evening, but I did, with Bryson's help, (attempt to) test the theory that a two-block deep pool of water will allow you to survive a fall from any height.
... Next time, I'll make sure the pool is located closely enough for me to actually reach from the jumping-off point, and that there aren't any trees in the way.  |
