I have no idea what happened but suddenly my iPod mini is acting really weird. The slightest touch produces static. It's like there is a loose connection and it keeps cutting in and out. I used a very highly technical method to fix it. I smacked it on my palm 3 times and it seems better for a while... Has anyone heard of this before? The click wheel seems to have some movement I did not notice before. (I noticed before the fix attempt!)

 Sorry to hear about your troubles. . . I sure hope it was a 'hic-up' so to speak and won't be a problem for you. I too own a mini, and love it.. and boy would I be pissed if it acted like this. I would suggest a hard reset but it sounds like something physically wrong if anything so that might not help. no sig, how's that for being a rebel! |

And to more directly try to help, I have a mini as well and I would definitely try a hard reset AND a reinstall of the firmware. Then, after all else fails, make a defeated trip to the Apple Store for some Genuis Bar lovin'... Cheers, Wraven |
