Woke up this morning and my mac (g4 quicksilver dual 1.0, OS x) wasn't on. I pushed in the on button, no chimes, but the fan came on for about 5 seconds, then it shuts off again. I opened the case and pressed the CUDA switch. Try to boot. Same thing. Pressed it again. Try to boot. No change. A red light on the motherboard comes on when the fan does, then after a few seconds, everything shuts off. I pulled the cable from the hard drives to the motherboard, but still the same symptoms. What the heck???? Any help appreciated.
