I was after something to get some data i deleted a week ago off the RAID system here at work. I had a google and found a few different ones, but theres a few things i wanted to look for. First is there a free one? I doubted it but i am hopeful. Second, which one should i use out of the paying ones if there isn't a free one. I had some issues with one for my old PC and i don't want to spend money again and get a dud. Thanks everyone.

In which case Data Rescue X is the only product I've found that actually works without having had to be installed before the data is deleted.
I tested over a dozen trying to find one that would recover deleted data, and this program is the only one I ever had success with in OSX. Google is your friend. Caveat Emptor - Latin for tough titty I tend to interpret things in the way that's most hilarious to me |

Ok thanks. I was hoping for a free one but thought i wouldn't get it. I'll have to invest in this i guess. It seems a shame that i only need it once and i have to buy it though. Thanks again.
