If you go under system preferences then screensaver you will see the option iTunes. When you click on it the screen saver is supose to be a bunch of your album covers as small tiles. It is supose to flip them and bring in new album covers. Well I have over 15 albums on my iTunes but when I click on that button to make it my screen saver I only get 3 album covers. I don't know what else to try b/c I have more albums but it displays only three and doesn't look good. If anyone has any suggestions I am all ears. Thanks......

Only 15 albums? Maybe you need more so it can pick randomly? I don't know. I've got a lot more than that, so it's tough to say if it's "working" right.

Do all of your albums actually have album artwork?
Remember that unless you purchase your tracks from the online iTunes Music Store, you have to manually add the album art. The quality of this board depends on the quality of the posts. And in case anyone else wanders in here wondering the same thing, you can check for album art by selecting a track and either getting info on it and clicking the Artwork tab or by selecting it and clicking the little artwork button to the right of the loop button.
So, was the problem that your albums didn't have art? The quality of this board depends on the quality of the posts. Go download Clutter here:
http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/18699 Pull up the browser window in Clutter and you can click on an artist and then an album and it will search amazon.com for artwork. It usually gets it right the first time but if it finds the wrong thing you can Ctrl+F to modify the search terms it is using and pick from the images it finds. Once you have the right album cover hit Ctrl+Shift+K and it will copy the artwork to the mp3's in that album. There is also a Konfabulator Widget that does something similar but I like this better. Its freeware too! |
