If you're using OS X, what alert sound do you use?

Right now I'm using "Sosumi", but for a long time it was "funk".

Just thought it would be cool to see others preferences, or if anyone had a custom one they used that they wanted to share.

Come waste your time with me

Pop.

It's short and unintrusive. I abhor those giant sound effects that some people use for alerts.

I use Sosumi for that old-timey feel.

Anyone use the NetBarrier "EERRR" for when you are getting pinged or port scans?

Freaks the shit out of me everytime

I use "Astrophile," a custom alert sound that comes with the BBX Mercury X theme.

Listen here.

Funk.

Years ago my brother set the system alert on our beloved Classic II to that famous sample:

"[first voice]I don't believe in reincarnation because I refuse to come back as a bug or as a rabbit.
[second voice]What an up person!"

used in a New Order song (Blue Monday?) amongst other places.

It was a bit long if you made the same mistake four or five times in sequence tho'

Mine is currently hero, though I'm also fond of submarine.

An aside, has anyone here seen Eurotrip? The kid in the movie (I forget which one) has an alert sound on his computer for new mail. It sounds like Mr. T saying "Mail, Mother F***er!" Anyway...I felt inspired enough to search for it on the internet and set it as my Mail.app new mail alert sound.

The one I found had kind of a low volume, so I modified it for my own use.

Link.

Sosumi.

On my first Mac, I changed the alert to Butthead saying, 'dumbass'. And because of the amount of alert sounds in System 7, my Mac used to call me a dumbass a lot.

RIGHT ON BROTHA! EuroTrip pwned! lol I love that movie. I think it recently came out on DVD or will be coming out soon. I also have the Mail mofo sound set for my new mail sound. It's been like that for a awhile now. It sure is a change from the 'ting' of Glass....
