Is it possible to have two bootable drives for one Powerbook? It would basically be as though I had two separate systems running from the same machine. I know I can just setup different user accounts, but I'd like to have the ability to completely seperate how I use my Powerbook at work and how I use it at home.
So is it possible? How would I be able to select which drive I boot from? Tony. |

Sure. Just install Mac OS X on an external drive or on another partition (requires reformatting your drive).
You can select alternate boot drives or partitions from System Preferences -> Startup Disk. The quality of this board depends on the quality of the posts.
