Does the power button pulse like it does on the Quicksilver models? Because I saw it pulse on my stepdad's QS, and I fell in love with it. It's mesmerizing ;)

Power buttons on all Macs have pulsed since at least the bondai colored iMac, I believe. (Not sure about the Cube).

However, just so you know, the pulsating only happens when it sleeps, not when it's being used or when it's off.

This does in fact happen on the Cube. If you have an Apple display connected, they both pulse in sync.

Thanks. I feel sorta stupid now, but my stepdad's G4 is the only Mac I've used a lot.

But yeah, the pulsing thing is really cool. Especially when you turn it on, it's all "WOOMPF" and stuff :D
