The iTrip is okay, but it's certainly not the best. There are however ways of improving it. I've found that if you have the iPod plugged in to a power source the FM transmitter will work much better. There are some transmitters that combine a power source and FM transmission, those will work the best. If you're going to get a new iTrip, make sure you get this (http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/itrip30/index.php) one, the old one will not work with the newest iPods.

For the record, iLounge's (http://www.ilounge.com) top rated FM transmitter is the Kensington Digital FM Transmitter/Auto ChargerKensington Digital FM Transmitter/Auto Charger (http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/accessories/product/kensington-digital-fm-transmitter-auto-charger/). Although they list it for $80 US, it can be found for cheaper.

ugh... WHY APPLE? Why remove the top connector. Now the iTrip looks kinda... out of place.
