**It is an official Apple t-shirt.**

Say what you will, it could be possible.

All pics can be found in their larger sizes

I don't know what I'm impressed by more...the fact that you were right, or that you actually remember that thread. ;)

Very cool. I really am impressed.

Haha, who would have guessed? It was a good assumption based on at least some "marketing material." It's as close as I'll come to getting inside info I guess... ;)

Fair call M'tosh - well done.

Why didn't they make the scroll wheel grey? This would have been a more accurate "stylised" representation of the 4th G iPod, wouldn't it?

Yeah, but I was close nonetheless. Maybe Apple saw my post and had to differentiate the 4G in some way! I am the sole reason for that ugly grey wheel! :D

(I really dont think it's ugly, I receive mine tomorrow!)

oh come on...

stylized version of the current 3g ipod would have been no different. there is obviously a loss of detail in making the shirt...

now if we only had the measurements from the shirt -- we could settle this once and for all ;)

Stop raining on my parade. Stylized to look like the 4G iPod maybe. ;)

Plus everybody with at least double-digit cells knew the 4G iPod would have the click-wheel since the 3G's electro-static buttons were asstastic

I still think that the simple design is merely a stylistic representation of the iPod. No particular generation, but it's the scroll wheel that has set the iPod apart from all other MP3 players. It's the one thing in common among all versions, and instantly recognizable. You don't NEED the four buttons to identify it as a 3G, or the gray wheel to identify it as a 4G, if it's on a T-shirt.

Actually, this was the same iPod that was in all the iPod posters, TV ads, and everything else, they never had buttons. I'm looking at an iPod poster hanging on my wall now, it looks just like that, with just the scroll wheel, and it's been up there since last year, if you check Apple's site you'll see all the little silhouettes holding the iPod with just a scroll wheel and no buttons, and that's how it was since the ads first appeared for the 3G.

Haha...next month I'm going to draw a rectangle with scroll wheel and call it a prediction because the 5g will have a scroll wheel ;)
