Seems like there are some tender nerves / hurt feelings / bruised egos / growing pains.
Rather than suggest "Music soothes the savage beast" and getting the evil Knight Rider midi experience that .com used to punish us with, (though an unofficial "Revoluion theme music" thread might be pending), I'm going to suggest throwing a few buckets of humour at the new boards. Maybe even a Funnies forum.
Murbot's Dead Hard Drive Repair Tips, kind of stuff as a sticky.
<*hint: if he wants to repost it... IP issues might be tricky, but it's a gem.>
Sense of humour is one of the things I've enjoyed most from the AI community, and I suspect it may take a while for folks to bliss out again, so I'm suggesting we park a few jolts of jest as inspiration in the interim.
And yes, the new Posting Guidelines are online and ought to apply.
If you want this to become the Funnies thread, feel free to move it, but I guess I'm asking whether we might not create a specific forum or sub-forum... if AO Nice / AO Naughty ... then Comedy Worksafe / Comedy Naughty?
