Digital Cam supported by Mac OSX

Hi all,
I want to buy a digital cam from SONY: Cyber-shot DSC-N1. I have not found it on the Apple Website as a cam supported by iPhoto. Can you tell if you know anything about compatibility ? Many thanks !

Apple's list (http://www.apple.com/macosx/upgrade/cameras.html) doesn't have it, and a quick query on the web doesn't seem to suggest so either. Finally, Sony's site only shows a Windows driver.

That said, I would give it a try nonetheless if I were you.

I have the Sony DSC-W1 and when I got it, it didn't claim to be mac compatible but plugged it in and it mounted as a USB drive which iPhoto automatically imported from.
Your worst case scenario is that it wont work, and even then you can just use a 'memory stick adapter' to download your photos, they are just as fast and only cost about £9-£15
