View Full Version : Time Warner Cable Service
So today after getting basic cable for free since May, (because I canceled the service when I left school and they never shut it off) they finally shut it off. We're gonna get cable again but I was wondering, and this is a stretch, how much some digital service packages cost, if anyone knows. Like I said, we were looking to get basic cable along with the digital channels, so we'd need atleast 3 boxes, but I'm definatly thinking about upgrading to DVR. Just looking for some price estimations because I couldnt find too much concrete info on the time warner site.

Cable's a rip off. If TWC up there is like it is down here, digital cable is like $70 and up.
yeah, thats what im afraid of. do you have any idea how much they charge for a cable box and then how much more it is for a DVR?
Why don't you just look at their webpage (http://www.timewarnercable.com/)?

Here, the first box is free and the seond is like 7 bucks a month to rent them.
DVRs are expensive, and the Time Warner ones are CRAP.
Shit man, I have no idea how much HDTV is going to cost me next month. I'm fearing upwards of 50 bucks...
Well, on top of my TWC internet service, digital HDTV is about $45 more.
Does anyone here have TWC's cable internet service? I'm moving to a new house but I don't think it has DSL access. It's in Time Warner territory.
i went to the TWC place today and I got a basic cable deal and roadrunner internet for $70 total....not too bad of a deal
We have TWC cable internet and TV. Works great, and is quite fast. But it's pretty expensive, especially when you go for more than basic cable.
