As I am loading videos to my computer for my 60 GB iPod Video, my 40 GB HD in my Powerbook is getting crowded. I think it is time to invest in an external HD, to store all my movies, etc. I am looking at the LaCie 250GB FireWire Hard Drive, Porsche Design external HD, as I get 250 GB of space, for only $169. It seems to be pretty popular with a 10-15 day shipping estimate, or is brand new. Anyone else have any recommendations and more info about the HD, I mentioned above? Thanks.

I use a 500GB LaCie triple interface and I've been very pleased with it - fast and quiet. Would buy a LaCie again.

you get a cheaper drive with a longer warranty if you build it yourself..... get a seagate harddrive....

That link seems to redirect to their homepage for me.
