Just an idea would be a webchat or an irc-chat for the website. It would be great to be able to discuss the rumors, et cetera in live chat. Some programs to look at if you would like to implement this, are gtchat (gtchat.de) and ww chat (worldweb.de).

The "applenova" chat room on iChat operates occasionally - mostly during MacWorlds/WWDCs. There doesn't seem to be much demand outside that.
