PB 15 1.67 not high res model should I keep?

I have a strange "problem" 2 weeks ago I bought a 15" PowerBook 1.67 it was the one right before the last version so it has the "lower" resolution screen. But it was a store demo - on the Pro Table so it has 1GB of memory, the bad is it has a couple dings and scuffs but that is OK as I don't feel to baby it as much :lol:

The price I paid was $1199 at a actual Apple store it includes the standard 1 year AppleCare.

I bought it as a B-Day gift for me :-) The Problem is my wife ordered a MacBook Pro for me (still not shipped). And with the upcoming event planned Tuesday a iBook err MacBook would even fit my needs if the price was good!

But I only until today to return the 15 that I have???


Just wanted to see what you guys would do???


IMHO the $1200 for this PB seems to good to pass up, no?

Er..well, what do you use your PB for? Pro apps are not yet available for the Intel 'books.

But you said yourself, a new MacBook would suffice, so I'd go that route. I'm guessing it'll set you back about $1200 or so which is the same as your dinged up and much slower G4 Powerbook.
