2-D apps run fast on MacMini?

I realize Universal apps from Adobe are not out yet, but can anyone speculate how these would compare?

UB Illustrator on Mac Mini Duo Core 1.66
vs.
PPC Illustrator on iMac G5 2.0

Will the integrated video card in the Mini, negate any advantage it has by having a second core? Or does an 2-D app like Illustrator not need a faster video card?

Illustrator doesn't benefit in the least from modern video card acceleration. The Mini's integrated graphics will be more than sufficient.

Furthermore, by the time a UB of Adobe apps comes out, it's likely that the Mac Mini will have received a speed bump. If the rumours are to be believed, it will have been a year since the first Intel Mini was released by the time the Adobe apps go universal.
