Can Mail.app filter outgoing messages?

It doesn't appear that the "sent to" filter in Mail's rules applies to outgoing messages. Is there a way to auto-sort Sent messages into mailboxes?

Hi veryfew - I would like this feature too, but, currently, I don't think Mail (I'm using OSX10.2) does have this capability ... bear in mind, I have not checked this thoroughly.

Have you tried going into the Sent messages mailbox, selecting the messages you want to apply the rules to and then pressing option-command-L ? This might do the trick - although it still requires manual effort on your part. :\

No it can't but there is a hint over on macosxhints.com about how to work around this limitation. I'll see if I can dig it up.

Thanks Torifile! The workaround will have to do for now, I guess. I just can't seem to find an e-mail client that does it all...
