Anyone know yet if the keynote will be webcast live?

My hunch is that, no, it won't be...even if Apple released their best hardware ever. Reason? It will be 4 AM in the US when the Keynote goes on, so it will probably be an on-demand Quicktime broadcast, later in the day.

Probably right because of the time. I don't think the Expo keynote was broadcast live last year either. Apple will no doubt post an updated website by 6 am EDT. A nice surprise should be in store when east coasters wake up.

It may show up on iTMS!

Not a short recap, a full streaming, on-demand broadcast. Just like every other major Apple Keynote/Expo/MacWorld.Not the last one from Paris. When they introduced the new PowerBook family and Apple's new wireless keyboard and mouse we only got to see a 15 min long recap som hours later.

Look here! (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/qtv/expo03/)

The iMac will probably be the last item talked about . They'll be a demo of Tiger - for say 45 minutes or so as well as a recap of all the "great" things Apple has done in the past year... iPod, iTMS etc. Perhaps there will be an official announcement of additional iTMS stores as well. I don't think there will really be a lot of stuff anounced. Based on the photos of the Expo floor the big banners raised so far have to do with Tiger and the 30 inch Cinema Display. There's a large covered banner which probably is the iMac.

I want to know where my replacement 17-inch PowerBook is...It's been over three weeks since they got my defective unit.
Some guy on MacNN's forums says CompUSA told him the 17-inch was discontinued by Apple, and whatever stock CompUSA has of the 17-inchers to sell at discounted prices. I hope this means I'll get a new model when announced at Paris (if this is the case). Then again, if it's a G5, I'd probably receive it in December :\

Does anyone know which sites will have live coverage?

MacCentral usually does, but their site doesn't mention it.

MacCentral usually does, but their site doesn't mention it.The news sites will probably have a note about it tomorrow, as they are usually inactive during the weekend.

MacRumors and MacMinute are two more suspects to consider.

The newsites will not have video (Quicktime or otherwise) but a word by word rundown of what is happening. As mentioned check tomorrow at the usual sites: MNN, MacObserver and others or check Macuser for the lots of info that they provide each day.

Anyone think there will be new Tiger Features announced? I suppose if there had been anything new added since WWDC we'd have heard about it... unless of course there is a new build they're releasing tomorrow that no one has yet.

New/updated Tiger features have been reported on by various websites including Appleinsider over the past month. New seeds are constantly being released. However, it is expected that some of the 120 or so new items will be witheld until the very end, next year.
