I keep losing my desktop!

I set a custom desktop quite often, but it seems like almost everytime I restart the computer, and sometimes when I go into full screen games(I just loaded the WoW stress test and it happened) The desktop reverts to the blue line default OS X one.

this is annoying as heck. any reasons/solutions?

First, do the obligatory permissions repair. If that doesn't work, I'm not sure what the problem is, but you can always try renaming "Aqua Blue.jpg" to "Aqua Blue (Old).jpg" and then take your new desktop image and rename it to "Aqua Blue.jpg." That way, your new, renamed desktop will be the default desktop picture. It won't permanently fix the problem, but it'll work.

If it is a permissions thing, it's still a pain in the nose, because I repair my permissions pretty regularly, and this keeps happening.

admittedly I haven't done them in a little while, but still, if it's going to happen anyway, repairing permissions isn't exactly a 'fix' :\

I like the aqua blue idea, even if it is a little duct tapey.
