Thats nearly £740, and way over priced. For not alot more you can buy a brand new Intel Core Duo iMac.

Personally I reckon its worth around £500 or around a $1000 Canadian.

Wow, that's sound like very low to me...

The stuff is 4 months old, still 8 months warranty and price with taxes was 2200 CA$....

If I assume a student who wants to purchase your comp, just by paying 348 $ more he/she can get a 20" iMac core-duo. (with the education discount). So as you can see, 1500 $ is too much as iCrag said. Check on ebay, that is one of the best places to get an idea how much you could ask for your comp.

I'd says its worth $1200 Cdn. The value of the machine is based on its price, before taxes, not after.

I think the value of a machine is based on the price you had to pay to walk out of the store with the iMac: 2200$.

You may think that, but nobody is going to pay $1500 Cdn. for a used iMac G5, look on ebay and other resellers with Cdn prices. One example, simlar specs (2Ghz pre isight) went for $1000. You might get that much, but its asking a lot since the current models are selling for $1,700 Cdn on ebay.

I'd love to sell my 20" iMac G5 too for a new Intel Mac... then again, I need to get this thing repaired under AppleCare first. Heck, maybe then I won't be so dissapointed with its performance once they fix it.

I agree with what other people said. $1500 Cdn is a bit steep.

WHilst you may not be happy with the news, bear in mind that we are just being honest and as the old adage goes:

"the truth hurts".
