I have a powerbook 12" G4 1.5Ghz.. I wanted to purchase new ram for it and I am getting a good deal on a 1 gig stick which meets the specs except it is PC3200 and 400Mhz. Will this work with my powerbook?

Also, how can I tell if a program is CPU intensive or just needs more RAM. Specifically, google earth.. when 'flying' from one location to another is quite jerky and makes my computer really slow.. so is it just that my power pc 1.5ghz isnt enough processing power or that I dont have enough RAM?
