Hi there,
I think I saw something about this once, but my search attempt turned up nothing.
I'm interested in the Seagate 160GB internal hd for my G4 powerbook (1.67MHz; lots of RAM), but the fellow at Seagate very kindly suggested I check to see if my pb has a capacity limitation. Will I get all 160 GBs with this drive? Or am I limited to 120GB (which he thinks may be the case).
Thanks for any advice,
Malcolm

Aluminum PowerBooks use ATA-6, which automatically supports large (>127 GB) hard drives. Just make sure you get an ATA drive and not a SATA drive (shouldn't be a problem, SATA laptop drives are still uncommon).

Thanks for the info, Luca.
Anyone out there, on this forum, using the 160GB drive, who can report on it? Battery life? Heat? Noise?
Thanks,
Malcolm
