Since I recently moved to the MAC I've found the software installation (drag and drop) process very impressive. One thing come to my mind tough. How can a programmer implement a trial version of his software? If all program files are in one directory what techniques can be used to implement a counter that cannot be reset by the user even after removing the expired trial and installing a fresh copy of the software?
