I'm currently trying to find a solution that would allow me to scan a high number of photos at a high speed. Now I'm looking to possibly use my exsisting hardware which consists of:
-2 Epson Scanners
-HP psc 1350 AIO
-PowerMac G5 2.3dual

I'm starting up a photo memorial company and I need to be able to scan 25-50 photos in a snap. I'm not too worried about the quality of the scan more the speed. Does anyone know of any software that allows you to scan from multiple sources at the same time?

I tried to run my HP software and scan while using VueScan but it wouldn't let me. any ideas on a setup or solution?

HP used to do a scanner with a built in sheet feeder specifically designed to scan multiple photo's. Having a look around it was the ScanJet5530 but it has been discontinued. I'm sure you could find one if you really hunted around or maybe someone else makes something similar.

It would make life a little easier for you as you could load it up and go make a cup of tea or read a book whilst the scanner just got on with the business of scanning.
