Is it a pro version of GarageBand? Will we see it at MacWorld San Fran come January? Will it be a completely overhauled version of Logic with a usable interface? Will it have a real mixer interface with full automation? Will it cost less than $500? Will it import GarageBand files? Will performance be vastly improved over GarageBand? Will it rule?

Strictly speaking from the opinion/perspective of "garageband is my favorite application"

"proband" would be the greatest thing since teeth that eat other teeth.

Especially if it was under $500 or came free with a new mac :D

I'm sure it'd become my favorite program.

That said, I don't think we'll see it, the "apple" version of logic will be good enough for sure.

More likely, GB 2 will add more and more pro features and become an even more compelling package than it already is.

Logic, probably. Soundtrack, no way. Soundtrack is very very different to Garage Band, think Adobe Illustrator vs Adobe Photoshop.
