View Full Version : Buying an IMac
What happens in the case that I just bought an IMac 3 weeks ago, still haven't recieved it and they come out with a new update to the Imac? Can you return the IMac even if it was opened? Is there any sort of trial time?

If you haven't received it yet (has it shipped?), it's possible that you may get the upgraded computer instead of the one you ordered. For example, if you purchased the top-end iMac, you may recieve the new top-end iMac. I don't know how this will affect you if Apple would change the price as well; I presume they will charge your credit card the correct, appropriate amount.
Pendantry: iMac, not "IMac" or "Imac."
You can return it up to 20 days after you receive it. Opened or unopened. The only difference is if you have to pay the 10% restocking fee or not. Unless it is a custom configuration, then I believe there is no return period! That is what I got from their website and that seems a little crazy! If I am wrong, someone please correct me.
Apple's official stance on returns and refunds (http://store.apple.com/Catalog/US/Images/salespolicies.html#Return%20Policy)!
