iMac 24 - graphics card affect video?

Will upgrading to the Geforce 7600 GT 256Mb ram have any effect on digital video manipulation?
I was happy to stick with 7300GT 128Mb but a little unsure as to whether this will be more than suitable.
I'll be editing HDV footage mostly and pretty unlikely I'll be using the iMac for gaming (though possibly a bit of graphics work).

Unless you play 3D computer games, the stock GPU offerings in all modern Macs are more than adquate for any task. :)

Trying my hardest to shave cash off the price of a package (see my other thread) so I'll stick with the 7300 GT 128Mb then.
Down the line I may use After Effects however....still ok? :)
