Bought my mom a Mac mini for Christmas

There was a great deal in the Apple Store refurb section for a Mac mini core duo for a total with tax and shipping of $550, so I got that for my mom as she really needs a new computer. It only comes with 512 mbs of ram, so I'll probably need to address that at some point, but the 60 GBs should be adequate for her, and I doubt the lack of a Superdrive will be an issue.

Hopefully she likes her Christmas gift! I probably spent more on her than my Dad...:lol:

Nice. Are you sure this isn't more a present for yourself than your mother though? ;) I remember getting my aunt a mobile phone back in the day when mobiles hadn't really caught on yet. I spent ages setting things up and getting it registered, etc. Then, after getting over the novelty of it and half-learning how to use it, she threw it in a cupboard somewhere and it was never seen again. :lol:
