The Kensington PilotMouse for Bluetooth... my brother has the wired version of this and it is really a wonderful, super-comfortable mouse. Plus this is the ambidextrous version, without any side buttons. It might have been nice to have the side buttons for Expose, but it's still an excellent mouse without them, and more usable for lefties as well.

By the way, although the list price is $70, it's $53 (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=26-125-026&depa=0) at NewEgg, although it's not in stock.

I don't know, MacMice started shipping the Bluetooth version of "The Mouse" (http://www.macmice.com/themousebt.html), and I think it's the nicest-looking of all, since it's basically a perfect match to Apple's mouse in shape, material, color, etc. EXCEPT it has two buttons and a scroll wheel.

I just really love the feel/shape of Apple's simple "pill" mouse and can't ever seem to quite get into the various Kensington, Logitech, Microsoft, etc. offerings and their funky designs, colors, multiple buttons, etc.

Bah. "The Mouse" is dumb. The guy running the business has a questionable past, and the mouse itself looks really cheaply made. It might look like a two-button equivalent to the Apple mouse at first glance, but it just looks very shoddy to me.

Kensington has a long reputation of making excellent mice for Macs and PCs, and the PilotMouse is a known quantity. My brother has one and it is of very good quality. The rubber edges are also very nice.

That's maybe true. But I wasn't talking about the quality of the Kensington (I'm aware), and I'm also aware of Jack's past. But should I hang everything on how something "looks" to you?

:err:

Call me crazy, but I'd be more inclined to go with a third-party analysis, based on something other than "it looks shoddy to me".

;)

I'm not even getting one, but your reasons are silly.

I hear that the seam joining the top and the bottom portions of The Mouse hurts your hand after a while. Never tried it though.

I just wish Apple would offer their USB and BT mouse with a scroll wheel.

I am using a USB Apple Mouse, but I am really starting to miss the scroll wheel on my old Logitech Mouse.
