Mac for Sister Buy or Wait?

My sister maybe getting a Mac for Christmas. I think she would likely be getting a MacBook, MacBook Pro or iMac based on her preference. I just want to make sure I am not missing anything and there are not any obvious rumored upgrades planned for those models at MacWorld which I believe falls right after Christmas. I know that no one will no for sure until the event is over.

Well, the MacBook and MacBook pro just recieved upgrades to Core 2 Duo chips about a month ago and the iMac made that move in September. All three systems use the same chips and currently offer the fastest version on the market. That said, you never know if there will be some new design waiting in the wings.
