Glossy Or Matte?

Two questions for everybody. Looking to upgrade my 12inch Powerbook G4 for a new 17inch MBP. Anybody have and feelings about the Glossy versus the Matte? How are they really different and what difference to each make? Just looking to see what everybody thinks.
