View Full Version : using leopard dev preview as main os?

I just got a new mac and joined the developer program as well. Since I only have one mac handy it seems I'll need to run leopard dev preview on it for development either on a separate partition or else as the main os. (Apparently the virtualization folks don't want to annoy apple by allowing me to use their products to run macos)

My question is whether the dev preview is stable enough to use as the main OS on my machine? Besides dev I'll want to do the typical things one does with a mac..

Any experiences good or bad with running leopard as the main os?

Answering such a question would be a violation of the NDA ;) , so I'll give you a reasonable guess instead: no.

Get a cheapo external drive and run it from there.
