M-Audio Sonica Theater

I love my new AlBook 17'', but wish that my digital 2.1 speakers would work with it. I was screwing around on the internet and found the M-Audio USB sound card, but was wondering if anyone had used it or knew if it was any good?

I have it and use it with my Logitech Z-680s. It works for what it does, but the software is utter crap IMO. If you have an optical out with your speakers I would look at the smaller version of the Sonica Theater. From what I have heard, the software is better and its a lot cheaper as well.
