iPod video converter

Hi guys, I've just bought an iPod Touch, and I have a bunch of DVD movies I would llike to convert to iPod format, the thing is I don't know wich program will work the best for it, any recomendations?

To buy it or download it.

Visual Hub isn't free, but it's a great app to have for all sorts of video converting.

I've been using iSquint, which the the cut-down, free version of Visual Hub. Works great for me.

The killer feature was the "batching" ability, which I couldn't work out in HB or QT pro.
EDIT: Obviously, mine were .avi's, not DVDs....

Visual Hub will convert practically anything! I would go for that one, or hand break for going from dvd to ipod format.
