Okay, I think that I want to build my OWN 2-drive, mirrored drive using an enclosure from Other World Computing but I'm confused and wanted some more experienced eyes to confirm my understanding.
It looks like the $120 Mercury Elite (http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Other%20World%20Computing/MEFW924AL2K/) only work in stripe mode and the $150 Guardian MAXimus (http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Newer%20Technology/GM8U2KIT0GB/) works in mirrored mode. Does that appear to be the case to you guys?
Regardless of which enclosure I need, which flavor Seagate drives should I drop in?
I've a mind to buy from NewEgg but it might make more sense to buy from OWC while I'm there~>
