Buying a LCD TV online...

Im looking at buying a LCD TV from Amazon and was wondering what, if anything, I should be worried about regarding shipping. Has anyone bought a TV online? How was the shipping packaging? Thanks all.

Nothing to worry about. I'd check for TVs at Newegg too.

I've heard that transporting LCD and plasma TV's need to be done by professionals. I'd buy insurance at the very least.

if it's delivered in cold weather months, remember not to turn on an LCD until it gets to room temperature.

Our LCD was delivered via fedex without any problems.
