Well, if the MBP has a Core 2 Duo it is wireless n capable, so thats not a factor.

Personally, I would get the Macbook pro if they were the same price.

Depends on what you do. The screen and graphics card makes for a significant difference. I'd probably go with the MBP

Macbook.

-smaller
-better CPU
-more disk space
-black!

And most importantly, warranty coverage. A computer doesn't do you much good if it's broken and nobody wants to fix it for you. Buy that sucker and get proper AppleCare. ;)

Yeah, just noticed the MBP has a Core Duo, not a Core 2 Duo, in which case I'd go for the Macbook.

Depends. What do you want to do with it? It would need to be really compelling to make me choose the MBP since it's out of warranty; though the MB is also out of warranty soon. I'm guessing you can renew that before the year is up? If so, definitely do it. I'd never own a laptop (or all-in-one) without a warranty.

I'd normally say go for the MBP because the MB's warranty expires so soon, but then I realized that that must be the original warranty. That means you can still buy AppleCare for it. In that case, I'd definitely say go for the MB, but ONLY if you intend to buy AppleCare for it. If you don't, then get the MBP, because the MB's warranty will expire soon and you'll wish you had gotten the machine with dedicated graphics.

What are you going to do with it? That's the real question which should determine which computer you get.

Unless you're doing a lot of gaming, then the MacBook. Among other things, because you can still put AppleCare on it. It's always a good idea to get AppleCare.

Depends, how old is the MBP? Can you still buy Applecare?

Look at the specs, its an original Core Duo model, no chance of getting applecare for the MBP (unless its a refurb).

Sorry, late night last night. I feel fairly strongly on laptops a warranty is key. I would therefore go with MB.
