As I just detailed in this thread (http://forums.applenova.com/showthread.php?t=29004) over in General Discussion, I'd like my two web sites to automatically serve a mobile version of the sites to people surfing on mobile devices.
My web sites are both basic p.r.-type sites; there's no e-commerce and nothing flashy or complicated about them.
My understanding is that a mobile version of a site can often be crafted from an existing web site/blog by way of a custom .css file and some other configuration tweaks. Is this true, or does a mobile version usually require a lot of redesign/recoding even for a simple site?
(I won't be attempting this myself; my web designer would handle it. I just want to know if this would be a major or minor project before raising the subject and getting into price quotes, etc.)
