I'm wondering why the description says "PLEASE NOTE: This warranty extension is not valid for residents of Florida!" Does that just mean this particular plan, or does it mean that any AppleCare warranty isn't valid for FL residents? Why isn't it valid?

AppleCare used to be invalid in Florida, but Apple finally fixed that.
